This page explains how to request deletion of a Timebox account
(Android / iOS package com.pop.timebox) and related data held by
Pop Studio.
Timebox can be used without an account (guest / local-only). Account deletion applies only if you signed in with Google or Apple.
How to request deletion
- Open the Timebox app on your device, or skip this step if you no longer have it installed.
- Email popvn.studio@gmail.com from the same email address you used to sign in (your Google or Apple account email).
- Use the subject line Timebox account deletion.
- Include: the email on the Timebox account, and (optional) the approximate date you signed up.
We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days. If we need to verify that you own the account, we may reply once asking you to confirm from that same email address.
Data we delete
When your Timebox account is deleted, Pop Studio deletes:
- Your authentication account (user ID and email stored with our auth provider)
- Cloud-synced events, tasks, habits, habit completions, and related settings
- Pro entitlement status stored on your account profile
- AI planning usage counters and logs tied to your account
Data we do not delete, or that we retain for a limited time
- On-device data. Uninstalling Timebox or clearing app data removes local events, tasks, and habits from that device. Pop Studio cannot erase data that remains only on a device you still have installed.
- Google Play / Apple subscriptions. Cancelling Timebox Pro is handled by the store, not by account deletion. Manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or Apple ID → Subscriptions. Purchase records stay with Google or Apple under their policies.
- Device calendars you imported from. Timebox only copies events into the app. We do not delete the original events in Google Calendar or other device calendars.
- Legal retention. If we are required to keep a record of a deletion request or to comply with law (for example tax or dispute records related to a purchase), we keep the minimum needed and delete or anonymize it when that period ends, typically within 12 months.
- Backups. Encrypted backups of our cloud database may retain a copy for up to 30 days, then expire.
If you never signed in
There is no Timebox cloud account to delete. Uninstall the app (or clear Timebox app data) to remove local data from that device.
